20 ' tires

On the new 4.8's is the difference between the 19' and 20' tires that noticeable. This a stupid question but the 20's would be wider but are they also taller or just wider when looking at the car from the back?

Since the 20's have a lower profile tire than the 19's, I'd assume the overall height (rim plus tires) would be close to the same. You just end up with more wheel and less tire, which always looks better/sportier, IMO. Will obviously ride a little rougher though.

Well 20 FEET (20') tires would be huge, now 20" tires would be normal.

You are right, if you stick to OEM dimensions the difference in ride height is not very noticeable.

I was told that there is a supply problem with the 20" tire/rim combination. April production will be only 19" with the sports pack.

I keep hearing that and that the black leather is an issue for April production also. I'm close to putting an order in and might be able to catch the April production (dealer has an order already in that he can modify), but it might be useless if these options aren't available right now. What a terrible job BMW's doing with their logistics.
