Hartge 22" Wheels not perfect!!
How or where would you guys recommend I go to get these back to new again and how much should I be looking at spending? Any input would be great. Thanks in advance. |

I'd just go to the nearest BMW shop, ask them who they use for outsourcing curbed rim repair, and then contact said person directly to eliminate the middle man. Curb rash is pretty common and easy to repair and usually looks just like new again. Good luck! My guess will be around $85-$100/wheel.

Just curious....how were the wheels advertised.
Painted wheels can be repaired nicely but chrome/aluminum/ss is not a easy *nice looking& doable repair. |

I don't understand what you mean by how they were advertised?

No...honestly they didn't but I got a great deal on these wheels and I am willing to put in the money to get them back to new. I do remember asking about the condition but they never did respond on that. I liked the wheels and ended up buying them anyway.

I just googled the wheel for a pic.
-I'm not sure if it's a 3 piece wheel, but if it is, I would look into getting the front halve replaced. Before that though, have you had a tire guy spin the wheel just to make sure everything is AOK. With such a large wheel, and low profile tires, wheels can easily be out of true ..... - If the front halve can't be replaced, it's a tough repair...I've never seen a wheel refinish other than a painted/clearcoat wheel as opposed to a exposed metal finish wheel.... |
