It Has BEEN SAID!!!

NEW ROTORS, BED IN PADS CORRECTLY

I just did Hawk Performance ceramic Pads and Brembo slotted rotors( drilled were not recommended)
I used NO adhesive or anti sqeek or any of that stuff, and I have ZERO problems or sqeek from high speed stops or low speed stops.
After I bed them In, the stopping power was greater than the worn out OEM stuff and possibly better than new OEM. and the brake dust is so insignificant that the rear wheels get dirty before the Fronts!!!What a Nice Deal that is!!!
Here is a pic of the setup.
I Powder Coated the wheels High Glosss Black

I would be cautious with the pad bedding process.

You can really warp the rotors if done incorrectly. Especially if you are using "soft" rotors like the Brembos with pads that may be too hard on them. I believe not braking too hard initially for a few miles and letting the pads settle is fine and should give you no problem.

I replaced my Brembos and Axxis that where way too hard with ATE rotors and Jurid pads (they are the OEM specs) and had no problem whatsoever, more than a year later I still have breaks in great shape, no shuddering. The only thing (as in the OEM parts) is dust. But it is cheaper to wash than to replace rotors + pads every year.

Just my two cents.

I was told that the oem rotors are the Super soft, much softer than brembo!!
Anyone know?
In my opinion, we are driving $50k+ cars and people are worried about $200-$300 for new rotors.
Please remember THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE CAR IS THE BRAKES. This is no Joke, if the vehicle does not stop, You might be dead.
Do not settle when it comes to your brakes.Buy NEW PARTS!!!

As far as I could find out ATE is the supplier for the BMW OEM rotors (x5) and Jurid are also what BMW uses, with the BMW brand in both cases.

I don't know if anyone really knows and can confirm this

I have them in my car and work great. . My experience has been far superior than with Brembo rotors and Axxis pads. That combo did not work for me.
