Dryrotted valve !!
Im not sure if I need a new tire or should get the valve stem fixed. The tires probably have a few more thousand miles on them. I hate to drop $1400 for new tires so soon. Anyone else have this problem.???

All that you would need to replace is just the stem, not the whole tire. Any decent tire shop can take care of this for you for about $20.00

Are you using runflat tires? if you are, they would not old up to such low pressure again and ought to be replaced. if these are regular tires and were just flat (but not driven on) then you can just change the valve out.
