Conti's or Bridgestone

Continental ExtremeContact DWS vs Bridgestone Dueller H/P Sport. Both are similarly priced. Which would you buy for your 2006 4.8is? I have a dedicated set of winters.

I would jump in on Meister's V tire group buy, imo...esp with your dedicated winter
tire set.

If you don't though, have you researched both tires on the TireRack's website?

I don't know a thing about Bridgestone Dueller H/P Sport
but I wouldn't buy Continental tires for love nor money.
"Bad experience" with 2 of the 4 we had.

IMHO exactly reverse, would not buy Bridgestone for anything, had some real issues on 993s with them. They harden out like crazy and no traction whatsoever after that, plus they hydroplane like mad. Drove a couple of sets of Contis, winter and contacts and they were super!

Just ordered the 20 inch Continental ExtremeContact DWS from discounttires.com. I called a few places and the front tires are back ordered by at least 6 weeks.

I wish the Conti DWS's were available in the 19 in staggered sizes for my 4.4. They are rated through the roof on TireRacks website. I just got some installed on my e36 today.

I agree!! If the Conti DWS's were available for our 19's I would be on them in a heartbeat. Maybe in time they will make them in our size!

Thumbs up Love the Conti

I've been driving on the Conti contact extreme for approx 7 months , and I love them. Even performed well in the snow for such a large footprint. Recommend!!!
