Anyone ordered the 275/315 20" tire setup recently?

I really want an all-season tire so it's down to the classic duo: Conti DWS and Toyo STII.

The issue is I can't find EITHER of them in stock anywhere on the net! I'm hoping somebody knows a warehouse that has some. eBay has the STIIs for $1000 shipped and I might have to go with that if I can't find anything else.

Thanks,
-Cyrus

So I found a place that has the STIIs in stock for $830 shipped. Good deal?

Sorry, I had forgotten about this thread!

Save and Buy Tires Direct @ TiresDirect.Net. When I spoke with a rep they claimed to be a top 5 Toyo dealer by volume, and he assured me he had the exact tires in stock. Came to just over $830 shipped via Fedex.

Well I personally would have went with the DWS, but they had a 9 week (minimum) wait on them per TireRack. So I went with the Toyos and saved about $200, I think I'll be happy with them. I've read all the reviews on here and all over the net, they're both well loved and I'm sure they're both great.

I have the Toyo's and I can tell you that they are a plus/minus. I drive a lot through the mountains (between Knoxville, TN and Asheville, NC) They handle like a champ. I have taken turns with them that would have other tires rolling or feeling like a really bad idea. They feel like velcro to the road.

That was the plus. On the bad side, they just didn't last very long. I'm currently in the market to get the Conti's just to see if they feel just as good and hopefully last more than 15K or so that the Toyo's seemed to have lasted.

You'll be happy with your purchase cause they're a good tire, but hopefully you'll get a little more wear out of them than I did.

I recieved the Toyos and had them installed today. Mounting/balancing and disposal fees ran me $200, but I did watch them and it took them over 2 hours to mount them properly due to the difficult lip on the HREs. Here are my initial impressions:

-They are not as wide as the Michelin Diamaris were and consequently do not look as aggressive.
-The tread pattern is neat but doesn't appear very classy IMO.
-The compound was pretty soft to touch (it was 105F though), so I hope it can last a while.
-Took some great onramps and it performed like a champ, definitely better than my worn out Diamaris did.
-Best of all, the car is 10x quieter, you don't hear the tires roaring anymore!

I'll post more results with time.
