The owner of the dealer is now driving a GT 550i and it looks just like the X6's little brother! I really didn't like the looks of it from the pictures, but it does look better in person. It is of course a love it or hate it design just like the X6.

Morristown bmw had one in their showroom. all i can say is WOW

i thought it would be horrible, but when i saw it in person it was AMAZING

For some reason that is the usual reaction with new "different" BMWs... they look weird/bad in pictures but tons better in person

I just can't wait to drive one to see how that TT V8 feels in a lighter car than the new 7 series or X6.

The thing about that though is that I don't really want a design to have to grow on me or look better in person, or look good from some angles and horrible from others.

I think back to how great the e39, e53, e46 and so on looked the very first time I saw them (in photos or person). I would prefer BMW to make cars that look good from all angles from day one. X6 and 5-er GT are not that type of vehicle, IMO. I cant get past the rear or rear-side views of the X6/5-er GT.

Honestly, the one thing that I simply love about this GT is the exhaust. Look at the pics taht naz has posted up and you will see just what i mean
