Quick Impressions:

The engine is very smooth and powerful. Especially in the lower rpm. It's about 1000 lbs heavier than a 550 sedan, but feels much lighter. (I test drove a 550 right immediately prior to driving the GT).

The technology in the car is off the wall.

The headroom for the back headroom seat isn't as much as the X5, but better than the X6.

Overall, I love the car. Just wondering why they make the rear windows so small. I want to say it's smaller than the X6 (but I haven't been in a X6 for over a year. So my impression could be wrong).
Actually it's just under 600 lbs heavier than the 550 sedan v. 550 GT. But it has a better 50/50 weight ratio - 50.2/49.8 for the GT and 52.3/47.7 for the sedan.
