So, good thing I hit the POWER button then.....Anyhow, I didn't get a chance to play with EDC too much....left it in normal mode.

Well, for a 5-series, it sounds glorious....but, you are right that the exhaust is quite muted, but it is balanced....However, we'll hear Josh roar with his M5 with Eisenmanns....

I really wouldn't call the sound glorious. It's a very distinct whine but the stock mufflers really take away from the sound... with that said.. full eisenmanns to follow on my E60 and I think John has first dibs cuz you always flake!

The 73 toll road which runs from Newport to Capistrano is wide open during non-traffic hours. I was on it last week with a buddy from work who was showing me his freshly done '73 Firebird with a new LS6 engine and Getrag 6-speed.

I LOVE that toll road, but I hear they have major speed traps but I have never seen a cop?

Agreed....Edinger is wide open and you can quickly double the speed limit there (60 mph) for the straightaways....get on Jamboree and get off the Warner exit for off-ramp twisties and use the Warner on-ramp for twisties, but no real curvy roads...You can get on the freeways when it is not backed up.

Gonna skip the eisenmann since the tubi just came out per beastpower and if you have seen the quality difference between the 2, you would go tubi. The first batch is coming in 2 weeks. A couple weeks ago, nobody could confirm if Tubi was indeed going to do an exhaust for E60 since PeterS's car was stolen with the prototype.

So Drex.. how bout an RSR or Techart for the 997??
