Great find Josh. Noticed it is also a retrofit kit for your E60....so are you going to do this?

Your mucho $$$ M5 doesn't have Comfort Access??? I'll trade that from my E90 for about 150 hp from your M5.

The reverse camera is cool. Where did you mount the camera?

I did test drive a M5 with Comfort access....seems neat....however, my sales guy told me this funny story about comfort access....

Scenario: Owner of 7-series with comfort access drives to airport with his buddy & owner has key in his pocket.....gets to front of the terminal to be dropped off & leaves the car running....gets out of the car & gets his bags and goes into the terminal to check-in, etc. The buddy gets into the driver seat (car's engine is running, never was stop)....the buddy takes off and drives the 7-series throughout the OC and gets to his destination and then STOPS the engine via the push button. That is when the buddy realizes, he doesn't have the plastic comfort access key because the owner has it in his pocket & is 30,000 feet up in the sky. Now, he can't re-start the car nor can he lock it up and has to get someone to bring him a spare key.

Yes, when you leave the car, the warning sign lights up stating the key is out of range, but the engine will continue to run until hit the STOP button.

Anyhow, look at the PDF file, I am sure Josh mounted the camera on the M5's rear end. I am sure you can do the same on your E90.

DUH! I'm stupid but I ain't dumb. I want to know where specifically he mounted it on the rear.

But wait, maybe he wanted a forward facing camera so he could drive without looking out the windshield.

The instructions don't specifically state so, but I assume the vehicle must be equipped with iDrive, which I do not have. Nice mod, though. Thanks for sharing.

In my wife's RL this happens lot when she has the keyfob and I am driving. First it gives a message in orange on the dash that comfort key is missing with a beep, and this happens the moment she is a feet away from the car. Second, if I am in the car and shifter is in park it will not move till she gets back in car.

Woohoo!! My 4000th post!!
