How hard was it to install the rearview camera into your E60, josh? Are there instructions online or somewhere else?

it was a snap.. 1/2 beer job. mount right into the bracket next to the trunk handle to the left. There are already plugs there for mounting. doesn't stick out to much and fairly small. It was also prewired.

Cool. I'll buy you half a beer to install it for me. Remember my wood trim swap and wrestling with my center console? That was fun.

What was the cost of the kit? (Either the street price or what I'm sure was "extra special price" for you.)

We're cool! Small price to pay to not have to deal with iDrive.

More money for tints, PMBs, and some Michelin Pilots.

really though, I still don't understand why people hate idrive. I access all my menu's via voice commands. don't even need to bother with the wheel. almost every single menu can be VR'ed including entering addresses for nav. BTW, forget the frenchies and their pilots. The GSD3's are miles ahead of it.
