Official pics of new MINI

Its a MINI BMW, right?

Cooper: 1.6 liter with 120 hp
Cooper S: 1.6 Turbo (instead of compressor like last) with 175 hp

Now even larger than before, the Center Speedo, a genuine MINI icon in the cockpit, comprises all entertainment and, as an option, navigation functions over and above the analogue-face speedometer. Through its high, central position, the Center Speedo allows optimum ergonomic control by both the driver and front passenger, while the slender centre console ensures even more space and roominess within the footwells

I'd like a Cabrio S 6-sp with all of the bells, whistles and toys. Blue with white racing stripes please.

I love it. The interior seems very nice. I don't see how they integrate the navigation into that speedometer though. I'm not so sure I'd like the placement of the speedo in the first place. I like it to be in my line of sight.

Interior looks great! Can someone explain to me why this engine only puts out 120hp / 111 tq? Honda's 1.6L in the late 80s was outputting 160 hp / 111 tq. I know it's not engineered by BMW, but still...why do they even buy it?

Hmm, I'm impressed. Apparently what I've heard & read (& seen) was wrong.

The xenon's definitively make a huge difference in the look of the car... (blue one looks amazing, the red one - not so much...)

Not so sure I like the thick chrome around the rear lights though. The current model's skinnier chrome looks better.

But coupled with better engines and a much better interior, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't sell, or why I shouldn't consider one...

Definitely a WILD interior.
