Is the 426hp a definite number and if so where did you hear that?

not digging it. BTW, xede'ed 335i are putting out a lot more power than that... Add LSD, and you still got 20K left in the bank.

What, no flared fenders? The under bumper license plate and plain rear trunk sheet metal makes it look even more Honda-ish than the E92.
with sanguru. The M3 styling is pretty damn disappointing. Xede 335i with an M-technics kit is looking like the way to go. Speaking of Hondas, where the heck is Vinuneuro? |

The Autoweek pictures are not BMW official photos. They are computer manipulated and based on spy photos.

Very very blah. The e36 has more of an aggressive look than that thing, and no, I'm not being biased cause I also love the e30 and e46.
There are already a number of companies tuning 335s... Xede, Techniks, and the one that begins with a V who normally do WRX and Evo. Sure, it doesn't have an ///M badge, but I think BMW needed to do a little more with this M3 than what has been seen. Of course, if they released an M3/4, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't consider it

It seems Autoweek borrowed these pictures from a UK magazine. They were posted in E90post on 12/31.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44066 I notice Scott showed up at E90post to make a proclamation on the M3 release schedule, just as he did here for the E70. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...53&postcount=1 Here's what he had to say: M3 release/debut schedule and timing The "production" car will have it's official media release in July with the final production car having it's international debut @ the IAA in Frankfurt in September . German and European sales are expected to begin shortly after which will then commence with the media release of the M3 Cabrio in November which might possibly debut at the Los Angeles show or the NAIS in January. US sales are expected to commence before the Spring . Of course this is of course if everything runs to schedule in which delays may be inevitable if the development of a problem or delay appears. Although you are seeing almost finished cars on the streets , The development phase known as FEP continues right up to launch - The development programme for this car is very intensive it's a bit like a strict physical requirement for an elite military unit. The new M3 in it's development has literally been to hell and back. The competition has now developed further and benchmarks such as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and entry-mid level 911's have been assessed alongside the new M3. Where you would never think they would be upagainst the previous M3 - This gives the clear impression of the strategic shift BMW have taken with the new M3 On which there is a clear reason why. Keep the first week of March free in your diary. |
