Thanks for compiling all the info and pics as always!!

KirkX5M, the 400 NM torque converts to 295 lb/ft of torque. So the torque is similar to the 335i, but about 90 lb/ft shy of the M5/M6 V10 engine....Remember, the M3 engine has 2 cylinder and about 1 liter less than the M5 V10 engine.

Don't worry, if they keep the car light, it definitely should be faster than the RS4...Look at page 24 of the PDF file and you'll see the nice torque curve that only a naturally aspriated V8 could deliver vs. our S54 I-6!!

nice........is this a regular V8 or does it have a twin turbo? just reading so much about new cars/engines coming out...trying to keep my facts straight?
