V10 ///M3 with 20" ACS wheels, Recaro seats and Hartge steering

A BMW parts retailer in Germany has just completed a new E92 M3 project car fitted with the M5ís V10 engine in replacement of the standard carís high-rev V8. The special one-off was commissioned by Bremgo, a specialist in sourcing BMW parts and tuning accessories, and the one-stop shop is now offering all the parts necessary for the conversion to anyone crazy enough to shoe-horn the 507hp 5.0L into the Coupe.

Completing the mechanical changes is the adoption of the M5ís SMG instead of the M3ís standard six-speed manual. In addition to the new drivetrain, Bremgo has also loaded up the test car with BMW tuner gear including a Hartge perforated leather steering wheel and AC Schnitzer five-spoke alloy wheels.
Not surprisingly, the car has been debadged. The only question remaining is what to name it.

This isnít the first radical conversion undertaken by Bremgo. Their previous works include an E46 M3 fitted with a 543hp version of the M5 V10, and we suspect the upgraded engine may be the same spec as the one fitted in this new E92 version.

Those wheels are god-awful hideous. Other than that, I wouldn't complain about a V-10 shoe horned into the engine bay Unless there are still a bunch of SMG gremlins.

Yeh great concept but I agree that it would be awesome with a 6 speed in it instead of the dreaded SMG...isn't the new M5 getting a manual tranny as an option?

Don't believe the SMG reviews you read from the press. Take it from one who knows: the SMG III is ... awesome. Yes, the M6 and M5 are offered with a stick now (only in the US) but most of us M5 / M6 drivers agree that SMG is the way to go.

Looking at the pictures the car is equipped with the SMG system and not the 6 speed coming standard with the new M3 now.

In my opion the car looks great (I certainly love the wheels but then again ... I'm biased) and I can't wait to see the specs on this thing. It will be interesting to see how much faster (if faster at all) it will be compared to the M6.
