Blow Off Valve on 335i what do you think?

i've been seeing a lot of vids of this mod being done to the 335I i actually like it and plan on gettin a HKS bov after i get my 335i in about a month and a half now. but i'm wondering what do you guys think about it? any down side?

hahaha true aside from the obvious, any downside? or would a complete exhaust setup be a better mod?

Not recommended. Vishnu Tuning comment on blow-off valves specifically on the 335 on their site; this quote refers to the Procede tune, but also to the stock setup:

Doing so will effect the PROcede’s tuning and cause the car to run poorly. The car was designed to recirculate that excess air back into the intake system. Bleeding off the air that was accounted for by the MAF sensor will confuse everything.
And this is aside from the fact that, as Vin infers, it will make you sound like a 17 year old driving a Civic.

intake and exhaust is fine. BOV is not recommended as it will cause a very rich a/f condition causing a check engine light and will be a dead giveaway for voiding your warranty.
