Nice exhaust note on N52 engines.

I was browsing through some videos on youtube and stumbled upon the muffler delete mod done to e90 3 series and the 06-07 e60 530i. Basically, the stock muffler is removed and replaced by a straight pipe with tips at the ends to keep the original look. It sounds really nice and in my opinion is how a BMW I6 should sound. Check it out!

Neat, and it does address my complaint that the newer BMWs are too quiet in the lower ranges. But I dunno if I could live with that much sound everyday, and the emissions are questionable.

That sound would be great for a weekend car or a toy, but I would have to hear the cabin noise before I would agree on that as a daily driver.

Yeah I don't like the sound of the m54 3.0 with an aftermarket exhaust. It just sounds bland and boring. It's true that it's way too quiet unlike the older BMW e36s etc.
