I've upgraded the intake with some ram air scoops, BMC filters and block-off plates all from RPI. Cut off the secondary CATS, H-pipe and resonator and replaced with an X-pipe and straight pipe. Based on dyno results from others that have done this it should now be over 550 HP. Sounds very close to this Youtube clip...

Weasel will become famous soon enough
So when you're not flying, your still flying...! You need to put that one little sticker on the back that says "My other ride is an F 22" (or whatever you kids are flying these days )

I've never drove an M6 until I drove mine home and WOW is this an amazing car!!!

I'll check in once in a while & everyone have a great weekend!

Now that I like. Doubt you managed to get an even trade in for the X5, or did you?

nigwhyrito; I'll be driving my car to Hampton in a few weeks. Let's meet at Hooters one day for dinner and I'll give you a ride. Send me a personal message with your number & I'll call you when I get there with the car.

No, it for sure wasn't an even trade. This car was $104,900 new and after taxes & everything else came to about $56K. The 06's were another 5K less so they're becoming at least somewhat affordable now.

Hello all of my old X5 friends!

Haven't checked in for a while and just wanted to say hello. Am in Dallas right now out-processing for yet another overseas tour. This time I'm going to Afghanistan for 1 year and will be advising the Afghan National Police so it definitely won't be a cushy tour like my recent ones. Have had lots of M4 & M9 weapons training this past week so we'll be armed to the teeth expecting the worse while spending lots of time at the police stations.

The M6 is running great and have now added an underdrive pulley to the upgrades. When I return home next July I'll send the ECU off for a remap & upgrade the wheels to the lightest black wheels I can find. Still amazed at this car and will definitely miss her until I come home.

Hope you're all having a great Summer & take care!

Dean
