Just got an email from Craig Hacker at Open Road BMW Recall on E70 E71 M vehicles. I have no affiliation, just figured some of you might like the service he provides. I am sure quite a few of us buy parts from him, so figured some might find this useful. I figure this only applies to M vehicles. If this needs to be moved to the e70 / e71 section, let me know, or just do it lol.

P.S. Open Road BMW is in NJ, but they picked up my friends car from Brooklyn NY last time.

Thanks for the document. Just yesterday I contacted my SA and after looking into it got back to me stating that my car falls under affected models but only if there is a concern or failure will they address but extends my warranty on them to 10yr/120k. I sent this document to her and requested that she look into it further.

So to give an update, I sent her the email and got a response back stating that yes in fact my VIN has the open campaign on it so need to bring in and if injector index is under 11 then they will be replacing.

my Dealership denied the claim and showed me in their system that there was no such recall from BMW for my car which is an 01/2010 build.
