K&W v3 Coils, lowest setting? sitting on bump stops *issue*

Hey guys,

I have a question; my x5m is sitting on kw v3 coilover.
I one time decided to have to the shop drop the car to the lowest setting and they told me they were not able to do this because this car was sitting on bump stops and or some other piece that was getting damaged and or was getting "sat" on by the suspension..

has anyone heard of this that has KW coilovers? Is it possible to drop the car on the lowest setting without it "sitting" on something and or damaging a part? I also have 22" wheels.

If I can take all the wheels off and put the car on jack stands is it to adjust the coils? height and damper?

BoostedX5M is an unknown quantity at this point
I know dinan makes some sort of rear bump stop, I'm assuming to help this issue... I've looked into it myself as I have a 11 x5m on H&Rs and the rear hits the bump stops occasionally... I haven't found out a solution yet. I may just raise the rear.
