Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.
Hoping someone here can help me out.
I have a 2016 F85 X5M with about 9K on it, and recently the front wheels makes a horrible slipping sound whenever I'm turning the wheel acutely at a slow speed, such as when I'm backing out of a parking spot. It almost feels like one of the front wheels is caught on something and then abruptly releases. It's not a screeching sound but almost like a slight jolt.
My dealer told me that they thought it had something to do with the rotors so they tried to sand them down, but that didn't help. Then they switched the wheels/tires out with new ones and he said that it fixed the issue. If it's a tire issue, then what could it be exactly with only 9K of use? I'm not totally convinced. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
