Yeah you're right, I think its just my wishful thinking that silverstone somehow turned into the color of titanium silver.

I just don't understand why they wont offer titanium silver in the US. BMW pulled the same move with the 4.8is and the gunmetal color (I'm still pissed about that).

If I had to guess. I would say that titanium has been such a popular color for BMW for so long that they decided to roll out the ///M cars with a more "exclusive" palette.

But that's just a guess.

Silverstone looks different in different lighting like LeMans blue and Vermillion red.

Has anyone seen a monte carlo blue in person yet? Or did BMW only send out white, silver and black?

I saw the Monte Carlo blue in person at the M driving event (refer to my pictures earlier in this thread:

The blue is very reflective, almost like a chrome blue. All the other blue colors I've seen don't have this much reflectivity. The color shade is very similar to LeMans blue.

Monte Carlo Blue is the only blue color offered for the X ///M.
