When it hits zero. That's typical of a count down...

I know that, but in Aisutralia it showed here as 0 0 0 0 as at midnight last night as we are ahead of you. It now shows 17 hours and counting upwards the reverse to what you see, so how many hours to go on your website!

I am very much hoping for 3rd Row! Anyone have any conclusions yet?
For those of you that don't see the point, it is very simple and I think is pretty core to at least a large target demographic: Dad's who have sports cars, but also need to have a car that can drive around 2 kids (and sometimes a couple of their friends). I own an Audi R8, and the X5 M seems like the only solution that will provide as great of an experience (well, i will settle for almost as great) and enable me to jam a couple extra kids in when needed. there is so many comments on this thread, that i may just start a new one as well. apologies for the double post.

thanks...

Yeh, I can imagine parents letting you put there kids in the back 3rd Row of seats in a SUV with 550hp, you may as well strap them to the roof racks!

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying your a dangerous driver, but the 3rd row seats have no air bags and is the last place I would want to be sitting when you hit the brakes!

Anyway, after buying this X5 I don't think I will be able to afford the fuel for DD! as I do 600kms a week, this thing is more a weekender!

2nd row don't have front or sides airbags either. Head airbag covers all 3 rows. You can't put kids in car seats in the 3rd row, but if they are out of car seats then they can certainly sit in a 3rd row. Considering BMW is making more cars with 2+2 setup (3 series, 7 series, X6) I don't think it's too much to ask for 1 model to have more than 5 seats.

the X5 looks better than x6.its something wrong on the x6. but even if i buy the x5 i will add the following:
-this time, M power division failed the wheels design. i ll fit 21 inch bmw wheels or hartge wheels
-roof rails like the m kit for the normal x5
-maybe running boards if they can fit
-change the exhaust pipes to two big rectangular pipes
-and dark tinted windows from the b pillar onwards
