Is this confirmed? That would be a real incentive for me to trade in. I didn't see this on the other thread for differences in the '10 facelift.

I'm a big fan of the X6M.. I just can't get around the absence of the 5th seat.. I do too much people hauling to make that commitment.

I think it will be hot though...

This has been my issue as well with the 2010 around the corner, I am going to order mine tomorrow. I will ask and see what the differences will be other than the listed. mmm, making me think twice now. I want it too bad to wait i think...

How can they do a 2010 facelift on an X5M if it's a 2010 vehicle?

Are you saying the 2010.5 will have the new rear hatch?

Also, wouldn't those changes just be for the non ///M editions.. As the M is so new, why would they change it already?

Doesn't make sense.

Facelift X5 is on 2011MY, not 2010. X5 M is supposed to follow th hatch change from regular X5.

a few of those "gripes" apply to all E70s. Sport seats I'd imagine would work better for you on banked roads doing break-neck speeds (ie. 270-degree highway on/off ramps). It's not hard to get out of them after a few times... take advantage of the inner part where there's no lip to hop. Tailgate half-auto isn't a problem, hardly open the bottom lip unless I'm throwing something big in there... groceries, duffels, etc. not so much. Steptronic is pretty good about letting you do the shifting.

Glad to hear it goes like a beast. I can only imagine what it's like having double the power of my 3.0si. Does the throttle really respond instantaneously or is there a small lag like the rest of us have? I guess if you're in manual mode the whole time then you can't really say.
