I would like to see one of the X5M parked next to a regular 4.8i with aero kit and 214 or 215 wheels to see which one looks "more aggressive" or better. Make them both white or both black etc so the color doesn't alter the thought process from one vehicle to another.

Seen it. X5 M looks the most aggressive.

True, but pretty soon all you will have for the giveaway are the side "gills" and the quad pipes.

I am thinking the 215 wheels on the carbon black will look pretty damn sweet.

Even with the air dams in facelift X5, there will still be difference in bumpers as in X6. See pics below.

I dropped by one of the dealers yesterday here in Dallas--they had a Silverstone X5M and Carbon Black (I believe that's what it was) X6M. Honestly, they didn't do much for me as far as looks but obviously the performance would. DID NOT like the X5M wheels at all.

The dealers in Dubai are ordering all their cars and demo cars and everything with the 300 wheels which I believe are the X6M ones..

^^ allegedly not an option for U.S. X5M's (or so I've read elsewhere here).

C's Bimmer is an unknown quantity at this point
A few faults with the X5M and why I won't be getting it...

1. No SMG/DCT transmission??? Booo! That's the best part about my M5. I love SMG. SAT is not even in the same league.
2. No Active Seats?? (I Love this on my M5. Even my wife loves the active side bolsters in the car)
3. Stock wheels are god awful. For this car, they should have made a set of 21's that were unique just to the M versions (I'm not talking about the 215's either).
4. Fenders should have been extended ever further with flare extensions on top of that. The stock flares don't look beefy enough.

Sure, it's fast and has a lot of TQ behind it. And sure, it will post more serious numbers after an ECU Remap is developed for it, but it's still missing some of the essential pieces that a M car comes with.

I'm sticking with my 4.8.
