Haha.. I'm from Los Angeles and this was my second summer in Dubai. It gets bad at times, but most people stay indoors so it wasn't too bad. And I was in LA half the time so that helped.
I think it hit 127F the day I left for LA...

I have two dealers close by, and each one had an X5M and an X6M. Coincidentally, each one had a different color interior so I got a chance to see all four colors! And after looking at pics online, all I can say is that the colors look nothing like that in real life. Cinnamon for e.g. looks nice in pics but was disgusting in reality like a dirty yellowish brown crap smeared all over the interior. The shakir looks bright in those pics but in reality goes perfectly with black and actually looks more of a deep red than orange. Black goes nice with the white cars of course. Personally I don't think white goes with any other color interior. But hey if you're shelling out the dough, it's your choice...

I agree with you, which is why I am considering getting a white/black or black/black.
I have to say tho IMO, if someone likes red, it looks amazing in a white car.
It was the only good color combination available at the time..but I am leaning towards changing it.

I know some people go gaga over interior colors like this.. I'm just not one of them. I feel that even if you like the color, living with it day in and day out is something entirely different..

But my tastes tend to be very conservative when it comes to car interiors.. I've never owned anything other than the most basic interiors.

I think something like this would be nice in an M car. This was the X5 (not M) I had originally ordered but I ended up going with full black interior.

I think fox red on M3 looks much better. Sakhir is not orange by any means, its closer to imola red. Wish they had Fox red with Jerez black, maybe on 2011.
