I'm hoping this is true, but waiting for confirmation.

I'd much prefer going with a 19" tire, and 255 width rubber. We're not going to be exploiting anything near the full potential of the car during the winter - for us, it's just a matter of getting through the winter, safe, without having to worry about the tires. Looks don't matter to us in the winter, really. During the summer, I am Captain Anal Retentive with regards to the finish and detailing of our cars, but in the winter, especially on the Canadian Prairies, all that goes right out the window......
I guess they fit. (now they tell me)

255's are going to look like hell tucked in on the ///M

You can see the Contis in this pic.

What is the verdict on Style 232s fitting the X6M?

So....

I will be ordering a 2013 X6 M and know someone selling a winter set up on the 232s.

Can I assume that if BMW sells a winter set up on 298s which are 19" wheels that the 232s will also fit the M?

I called the dealer, the parts guys is nice but his "I think they will fit" wasn't too convincing.

Thanks guys!

Depends. If those 19" 232s are from E70 X5, they will not fit as is. If they from X6, then you should be fine. E70 X5 center bore is bigger(74mm) than X6(72.5mm) for rear wheels.

I have 298M for winter.

Thanks LeMans. The 232s are the 19inch X6 wheels.

What do you have the 298Ms on? It's been so long I don't even know what you're driving these days.

Getting excited....
