yeah the comfort seats reguardless of the leather are better in terms of comfort. they have many extra adjustments that can make anyone happy.
i just wanted to see some pics of them in a XM, i had them and now how lovely they are. I just havent seen anyone with them on a M yet.

Hi, I have the full leather option with the comfort seats. I am extremely pleased with the seats. I usually get lower back pain even on short drives but haven't had any problems with the comfort seats. I believe the active seat massage feature helps as well. Here's a link to my post with some pics.

In australia we can order comfort seats even with the full individual merino leather package, without them having to be active seats/perforated. This is the seat I have in my twin turbo diesel X5 currently. However I didn't order them in my X6M (february delivery) mainly because the salesguy talked me out of it saying the sports seats are better suited to cornering etc. I'm starting to wonder if I should've just optioned them now. I took an X6M for a test drive a few weeks back and didn't mind the seats though, so I guess I'll see how it goes

Dealer gave me an x6m for a 24 hr test drive. I gotta say those sports seats were giving me lower back pain just only after 20 mind of driving. I could not get comfortable no matter what. The comfort seats I was told is a no cost option.
