$8500-$2300 = $6200 /4 = $1550 / rim

I am assuming 21". How wide are you or can you go? What tires will you put on?

I must know the details. Cannot wait to see pictures. Althought I will no doubt be bummed that I didn't wait before I bought my wheels.

My wife is starting to question. I have had the car for less than a month and a new package shows up at the door every day

Race season starts in a couple of months and then money really starts flying out the door.

21x10, 21x12. Tire options are limited, essentially only option is Dunlop RFTs, same as in stock 21" OEM.

Nice to see someone as impatient and restless as me!

I have packages dropped by the back door to avoid any worry! On the 21", up to 285/35 and on the rear 325/30. Have you seen the p45L rims........ By the way, the dark chrome side gills with tinted lens are now available (another package that's on the way....!)

Cheers,

From where are you getting the dark chrome side grills?

Lookin a little more into the rim size. If you go 21", rolling diameter stays pretty much the same, additionally you'd be able to run a 325 size tire, a little larger than the stock 315.

If you go up to 22", the widest tire you can do is 305/35. However, this size has a diameter which is 1.7" greater than stock. You'd have to go down to a 295/30 to get a similar diameter. Running the 305 size will cause a speedo discrepancy of 6% (when u r driving 60, u are actually going 63.6 mph). Also, you'd probably have to run a 10" wide rear instead of an 11".

Anyways, not sure if its worth the sacrifice in rear rubber width to run 22" rims.

ps Did my calculations from this site: Tire size calculator
pretty cool!

I believe there is a 315/30/22 available but not sure if you want to ride on rubberbands or not

Oh nice. I found the yokohama advans in this size. sidewall not too different than 325/30/21. I had this size tire on my 215s, some rubber there to protect the rim.

I stand corrceted.

Tom,

Do you care about weight at all? Or just the right look? I would be interested in the weight difference between the 21" and 22".

I just got my 215s in and was stunned at hom much they weigh.
