Hey Marc,

I had the 215s before and they are HEAVVVY, I agree. That's one of the reasons I wanted to go with the HRE monobloks and stay away from the OEM 21" rims, although the 215s and 239s look great. Not that I'm going to track the truck, but I'd prefer to take away as opposed to add weight.

Anyways, as far as I know only Dunlop has the 21" tires in 325/20/21. I was referring to 22" when I was talking about the yokos.

I know that this is an older post, but alot of the higher end wheel companies are doing Real carbon fiber wraps on their wheels and on a carbon black X5M, they'd look SICK!!

Modular Concepts make some that I've seen on Vettes and they are VERY NICELY done!

By the way, I have no affiliation with Modular Concepts, just know for a fact that they do them.

Funny this is bumped up...I was weighing the Style 215 wheels vs. the P40L HREs for my new 2011 X5M...cost is obvious a concern though with the HREs. Not sure what I could resale them for in a couple years. Bah...might just keep the stock wheels

You could always have the stock wheels powder coated to the same color of the 215. I am going to do this and keep them as winter wheels. Will post pictures when I get them done. Not until end of May.

Another idea is if someone can polish the face of stock X5 M wheels and paint the rest gray as in stock X6 M style 300M wheels. I think that will look pretty good.
May be someone can do a photoshop.
