I paid $3200 and the dealer installed at no extra charge! Very nice fitment and the finish has held up nicely to salt and extreme cold.

I tried Tire Rack last winter and they offered no wheels. In fact, I just checked their site and still no wheel/tire combos. They had tires, but running 275 and 315 in the snow wasn't a viable option in my mind. The main problem was offsetting the rear wheel to fit the fenderwell nicely. The oem wheels came with 255 snows and look great on the car. They were asking 4K but dropped the price in a hurry! Guess they were afraid to get stuck with them over the summer.

I considered popping for a winter set (thinner) - I'm glad I didn't. Unless one lives in the U.P. of Michigan, Syracuse or the Rocky mountains, I don't think the X5M needs thinner winter tires. (but I definitely think it needs winter tires - the summers are scary on ice). YMMV
