So far happy with the change and wish I would have done it sooner. Ill post more as I break in the tires a bit if anyone is interested.

Well the HP's lasted 2 weeks just had them replaced with Michelin Diamaris, Tire howel and rough ride were the reason for the change. Not sure why the seemed rough other than possibly too aggressive of a tread pattern. Diamaris are very nice so far. I have had them before and liked them very much.

Interesting...My initial excitement about the DWS tires has also waned mainly due to inability to perfectly balancing them. I am left with a shaking and roaring sound that starts around 70 miles. Car is great as long as I am in the city but once I hit the highway, errrrrrrrr

Yeah same here on the roar with the HP's at highway speeds about 70 mph they were so loud it hurt. Plus the roughness transmitted vibrations to the steering wheel and seat. They may have been slightly unbalanced but all in all a deal breaker. Diamaris are slinet and no transmission through the wheel so far. They are expensive but well see how they are after week. If these don't work Ill just go back to the Bridgestone Runfalts. They were loud but always smooth with great steering feedback and response.

On balancing I've always had great success having things road force balanced on a Hunter machine. Might be worth the $100 or so.

Those Michelins are great, I am sure you be happy with them. I actually had my tires mounted at the dealer that has the brand new hunter with road force and all. They did it twice and said that is the best they can do. I may give it another shot somewhere else, the vibrations is very annoying
