Slightly off subject here, but anyone knows on the HP for the upcoming M Gran Coupe?
My dealer said there is a rumor that next year model M5 will see a HP bump. Wonder if it's anything like a performance package in AMG?

No official word on M6 GC hp, but the speculation is that it will be same as new M6.

BMW may have special edition M5(with more hp) in limited numbers, but have not heard of Hp bump an year or so after release.

Scott27 from BMW has mentioned an hp ceiling of 580 for next gen X5 M and X6 M featuring the next version of S63 Tü engine used in new M5 and M6.

What is everyone's take on no touchscreen for the next gen interface? Know it might be a safety issue so that the driver may not take eyes of the road: but it does not make sense that they would put in a touchpad down near the shifter?

I am for tochscreen/iPad like interface. Check Cadillac's new CUE control iPad like interface. Full onscreen Qwerty keyboard.

Agree..test drove the Infinity QX for the wifey. Both me and her liked the touchpad interface on the QX. So easy to use....
