Yeah. I know. The car has such potential but there is virtually no good tires to
maximize the fun.
I realized how lucky I was when I had M3 with like 20 different "good" tires to choose from.

Even though I want new wheels, any upgraded wheels (21"+) have even less tire choices so I'm still running on OEM 20s.

Continental lists the Conti UHP (ultra high perf) in appropiate sizes on the European site but not N American. I have heard good things about the UHP. Also. Pirelli offers the P Zero (not Scorpian) in decent sizes. They are the same construction and tread as on various high perf cars. Again, trying to find a reliable and decent priced source

I'm thinking about trying Vredestein Ultrac SUV Sessanta for my next set on OEM 20s (looks like Charger etc. of new muscle cars like them). Luckily they make OEM sizes but not so lucky on 21 and 22s.

Ok, unless Tirerack is lying about the rear size availability - a local BMW race shop is going to hook me up with the tires, shipped and mounted/balanced fr $2600. Basically I pay the costs and they mount free

So, I will have a complete set of Scorpions for sale

My buddy got his 285/335 22" Conti's through GGI Tuning (as well as his Hartge gear). Prices were good (and 'cause they are local they installed all equipment).

Maybe give them a call.
