Here is a link to the build thread over the years. Do not get concerned about the first few posts of pics not working.

Black Saphire E46 Touring - the mod history - E46Fanatics

I promise the thread is pretty darn thorough

Stuart
Thanks for sharing the link. 100 pages! I had to reset my e46Fanatics password so I could login and change the number of posts per page to max and it is still 25 pages. Going to enjoy looking through all of that though.

Cool stuff.
How do you like ESS tunes?
(I'm debating between ESS and Dinan since those're only 2 companies I trust for software tune).

And does your tires holding up well for spiritual driving?
Mine came with Toyo Proxi II (prev. owner changed it) and not liking it.
Car has potential (power + handling) but I think these Toyos will give up a lot before. So I'm having hard time pushing my M.

So far, very happy with ESS. But I have a VERY long history with them. Two cars that are supercharged, etc

I took off the OE run-flats and installed the Conti DWS on the stock rims - I LOVE THEM. I also have them on my wife's TL.

The Pirelli Scorpion tires on the 22s SUCK...I want to switch to the Pirelli P Zero Nero - regretfully Pirelli seems to be the only one with the proper sizes. Although Continental in Europe has the UHP (ultra high performance)

I found them to be very grippy, great in rain. Now, I bought them with me driving in the winter in mind.

In Washington, DC will do get snow (occasionally).

I took off the Bridgestones almost instantly

I would not want to push the Scorpion's too much - they do not instill faith in their grip
