Different reports have quoted different numbers.

I have seen 1-1.2 bar reported.
Also saw 1.3 bar quoted in a technical article.
Also saw a reference to the turbos being capable of 1.5 bar, but I suspect that is what the turbos themselves can do, not what they do in this particular installation.

1.3 bar is 19 psi. I'd go with that as a starting assumption.

If they are at 19psi, then how much more boost do they put out with a tune? Can they handle the extra psi, or will that shorten their life span?

That would be up to each tuner.

Only one way to find out.

Yes, more boost shortens engine life.

On the Dinan website they claim an increase from stock 16psi to 19psi with their stage 1 tune.
