love that look of the x6m hood, not sure if it fits or not, i think the fenders are different

I've always wondered the same thing but after googling vorsteiner hoods, the X5M has a different part number than the X6M version. This could be for sales tracking reasons.

it is a direct bolt on - the x5m has the same front clip as the x6m and the hood is 100% x6

So I can transfer all current hardware over from X5M? No need to purchase any new or additional/replacement parts?

you can use your stuff
example - Vorsteiner only sold one part number for the aftermarket hood that fit 5M and 6M

How much is the VS hood? Do they make one without the gills? I'm considering the OEM 2013 X6M hood with the power dome as my next mod after I install the VS lip this week.

I think most people have found the vs hood is no longer in production - I think Northern2020 found one and may not be using it

Thanks for the input 330I ZHP. I am seriously considering it now.
BTW... Northern2020 said the quality and fitment on the Vorsteiner hood was bad; needs lots of bodywork from his garage to get installed

I knew about the fitment issues - it also looks like the one he bought has been handled roughly
