Nitto Motivo's suck in the rain compared to Conti DWS's

I've had my Motivo's on my truck for about a thousand miles now and i've come to realize that the don't grip nearly as well in the rain as the Conti's did. In fact they are pretty skiddish...

For people considering these tires as i had DWS's and then tried the Motivo's. If i could do it again i would have spent the extra money for the DWS's again.

I wonder to myself if the rep from discount tire that recommended the Motivo's over the Conti's had any real world experience with them or if he was just recommending them because he needed to push inventory. Either way i went with his recommendation and i'm regretting it.

Just an FYI.

They're ok. Little squishier than the DWS's but not horrible. Grip is decent. Keep in mind the vehicle is a DD and not exactly pushed like a race car.

I am going to buy a set, we don't have rain in the California. Only high performance driving highways.

They seem to do fine in dry weather. little squishy but i haven't played around with the air pressures yet.

What exactly does "squishy" mean in terms of handling?

BTW, I agree with you that the DWS's handle well in the D and W. On par with the Diamaris in terms of handling and a bit quieter.

By Squishy i mean the sidewalls flex more than the conti's did at the same PSI.
