Exclamation S0012 No Communication possible with transmission control unit

Hey guys, 2007 X3 N52.
Has anyone have this code in ISTA, before I start back probing and TCM parts change. Currently in limp mode and won't rev pass 3K RPM

Where is the Transmission Control Module location, I looked in the engine bay where the DME is located but no TCM. From the pictures I see on pelicans site, it's showing the TCM that came with the Earlier M54 engines.
