What is displayed on the opening screen after switching on the ignition?

Hi,
I have a BMW X3 E83 with factory navigation. When I bought the car, the original reader loaded DVDs with maps correctly and after booting it showed the view with radio stations on the screen. But it did not save the settings after switching off the ignition, e.g. changing the colors or selected language, apart from that the system booted in about 20 seconds.

I bought another reader then, in the second one the system loads immediately, loads DVDs with maps, but the problem is that after starting the car or even switching on the ignition and opening the display screen, 8 out of 10 times the view with radio stations does not appear but the menu where you can choose options such as Phone, Computer, Navigation, Monitor off etc. and only when I switch with the button on the radio do I see the main view with radio stations.

The question is, what do you see on the screen after opening the display? The view with radio stations or the main menu?

Alternatively, what can I do so that after opening the display the view with radio stations is always visible?

The software version in both navis is V32 OEM coded for E83.
