New Member....Brand New Unusual X3!!

Hi everyone! Picked up my 2006 X3 last night. I placed the order in early May. Prior to the X3, I leased a 2003 330cic for 3 1/2 years. Loved that car and was sad to turn it in last night, but so far, I'm in love with my X3! Here are my specs:

Silver Gray Metallic
Terracotta Montana Leather
Premium Package
Sport Package
Aluminum Trim
Heated Front Seats
Park Distance Control
Xenon
Premium Sound
Satellite Radio Prep
Privacy Glass

Any here are some pics! Only have driven about 20 miles so far. Can't wait to get out of work today and go driving!!

Welcome to the world! Good luck with her. What's with all the M badges on the wheels, steering wheel, door sill?

:welcome:

Sport package.

To complete your ///M look, you should get some pedals and e-brake handle!

I believe they come standard with the sport package. The factory did it, not me!

Yup correct...

Welcome to X3world...

I don't get why your X3 is unusual? Care to explain?

Oh & I hope you knew this before your purchase, but just to make sure, BMW refreshes the X3 in September, & the pics are on BMWUSA.com under Future Vehicle Section...

I think it's unusual due to the manual transmission. I was the first manual X3 my dealer had ever ordered! Plus, out here in L.A., you hardly ever see an X3 with the sport package. Most people here don't order their X3, just buy it off the lot, and the dealers only order the premium package for their inventory. So, my X3 looks different than most of the X3's out here, that's for sure. Plus the color combo is a bit unique as well, but I love it!

I did not know about the upcoming changes before my order, but it would not have made a difference. The only thing I would like to have is the angel eyes, but I can live without them. The other changes are not very drastic, IMO.

That's odd, I didn't think BMW M badged anything that wasn't M powered. Looks nice

Yeah, they do. The sport package wheels on my 2003 330cic had the M logo as well.
