I ordered and received the E83 Sirius Kit (http://www.circlebmw.com/parts/sirius/sirius-e83.htm) for my X3. Do you know if it is supposed to include the ALC Module and do I need it? It did not contain one.

Thanks

ALC modules are no longer needed in 2nd Generation and later units. You have a 3rd Generation unit. Hopefully, Circle included instructions with the kit.

No instructions. Can I use these http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/x3_sirius_install.pdf, but skip the ALC Module instructions?

Thanks

Yes, but the kit should have come with a curry connector that replaces one of the dual Sirius antennas. The other antenna lead is left alone. This is covered in the new instructions.

No offense - but this is exactly the reason why the cheapest price is not necessarily the best deal. Email me directly and I'll get you set up in the right direction.

Chattanooga BMW sends all the instructions with the kit. Sorry you didn't take advantage of his great service and discount pricing.
