Come to think of it, Ive never seen a woman driving a 6 series or a 330..325's all day, but never a 330. Seems like the woman "buy" Bimmers just to have one, and usually get the low end of the series'...

Wait a minute! Thats exactly what I do! And I dont wanna' hear any wise a$$ remarks either!!

You should come down to Vancouver, Canada...we got nice looking girls driving 6 series and M3s...mind you they are bought by their daddies or paid for by their hubbies.

come down..visit..enjoy the view.

You got this one all wrong,

Cause i got a 4.6is and the handling is almost identical to my CLK, it has speed sensitive steering and wider tires and dual ventialated brakes front and back. I agree though, that the trunk space for the X5s are very limited, but i think they intended this Sport ACTIVITY Vehicle as opposed to a Sport UTILITY Vehicle.

and since the X5 is Bmw's only flagship truck, they have taken the trunk space into consideration and you will be able to see the changes in this coming years Model.

In all seriousness, the X5 is the hauler. The X3 is the "Driver's" car.

I had 2 CLK's prior to this X5. The first CLK was the 320 (6 cyl), and the second was the V8 430. Both were kick-butt vehicles that were a lot of fun. I have to say, however, that the X5 4.4 is also mucho fun! Especially when I put the tranny in Sport mode and kick it a bit.

Well, when we were shopping for a new SUV, we visited the Lexus store first because it looked like in our part of the world, and in my own observation, most Lexus RX330 drivers are female (Realtors, mostly LOL). But my wife didn't like it at all because in her own words, it looked like a raised/oversized Toyota van. So we dropped by the BMW store nearby and I figured she would pick the X3 but to my extreme delight, she liked the X5!

(BTW, update on my X5 - Now in Oxnard VPC as of yesterday! So, 1 - 2 more weeks to get to Hawaii or 3000 more years? )

?????????? What ??????????????

An X3 can not outdrive, out sprint or out perform an X5. Tell me you saved money, tell me you didn't need the additional cargo room, tell me you kick my butt at the fuel pump... but don't tell me you chose the X3 because it's a better driver's car.

X5 seems to be popular with soccer moms here in Alberta. So I've seen one guy driving at an X5, loaded 4.8is at my golf course. The rest are like Range Rovers drivers trophy wives and soccer moms

As far as X3 it's my 1st BMW and I picked it because it was smaller. Not a fan of huge SUVS and the X5 seemed to be a waste of space for a 90% of what I need to carry in my job and on weekends.
