Will 18 inch wheels from an E70 X5 fit an X3?

These would be the stock wheels from an X5 3.0si.

I have 19" wheels of an X5 on my X3, and they also fit, I only had to install spacers of 10mm at the front, otherwise they touched my suspension.

You may need hub centric rings to make them fit. See below:
X5 E70 use a PCD5x120 centre bore 74.0mm and M14x1.25 bolt thread
X3 use a PCD5x120 centre bore 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread

you definately will need spacers for the e70 and if they come with tires the sidewall of the e70 is taller than the X3. It actually looks better on the X3 yet will throw off your speedometer.

Hi,

I have a technical question.
I bought these spacers with a centre bore location of 72.6mm.
I bought these because I have now universal ones, and they were floating and very dangerous, and I have a strong vibe on my steering wheel.

Now I have a X3 with a bore location of 72,5mm, that is all good I think.
But now my question, I have X5 wheels put on my car like we already talked about, with a bore location of 74mm.
Do I need to put extra rings between it to make it ok, and avoid a vibration in the steering wheel, like LemansX5 said.
And LemansX5, what measurements do they need to have?

thnx,

Patrick

Yes, If you have the e70 X5 wheel that you are putting on your X3 you will need hubcentric rings. Call these guys and ask for the 74.1mm / 72.6mm - they are $10
