Thumbs up Pictures of 2006 X3 just off the truck

The first X3 with the Birch trim arrived yesterday, so I went over to look at it. Ours is identical but will have the darker trim and could arrive as early as next weekend.

Note the umbilical cord to the battery for the shipping folks. Note the latches in the headliner for the cargo net. The grill is indeed chrome. Sorry for the lousy ambience on the dealer lot, but the car is already sold!

Painted bumbers are nice on Blue Water.
Cheers,
Jon

Dunno, maybe it's just me, but look too civilized with those painted bumpers.

That car is MUCH more improved with the painted bumpers, I'm liking it a lot!

better............

Looks better than before, eh? Do all the '06 models come with the painted bumpers or is it just the 3.0 - or is it an option for any model?

Well, seeing as the 3.0 is the only model now available in the US...yes, all the `06's will have painted bumpers.

The wood trim really works good with the tan interior. Mine is black/black and I really love the aluminum trim as I think the contrast with the black is striking...plus, I've had wood trim for years and wanted a change.

Nice when pristene & new, but the collection of dead bugs in the summer will be much more obvious now.

Red face Nice for now

Those color matched bumpers are gorgeous just now, but will emphasize every dead bug that hits them in the summer!
