Found this while posting a for sale ad for my own 4.6is, yep I'm moving on, bought a 2010 CTS-V sedan, anyway, thought you guys might be interested.

4.8isX5 is on a distinguished road
199k too on it... Shows these can handle a supercharger and still run for a long time. Ive figured out how to supercharge the 4.8is pretty easily but gotta get that 6k laying around to be used for that

That a lot of X for the $s!

If it's a rust free vehicle, this X is worth grabbing and doing a rebuild/refresh.

Wish I had the garage space, I would LOVE a Dinan 4.6is project. The CEO would make me sleep on the couch if I brought ANOTHER 200k mile E53 into the garage! I STILL consider it.

Too rare to see it sold to someone who will pound it into oblivion!

So basically you're buying the supercharger kit and getting the 4.6iS for free.

Dinan can verify via Vin that this is an S3 if someone wants to contact Dinan...

The buyer will not regret the purchase when properly maintained! User BigFish has an S3 and is in the low to mid 2xx,xxx range. Dinan designed this kit for safe, long term power.

Well, I know what's going to be on my mind as I fall asleep tonight........

1700 miles from Coppell, TX to S'Fran

6 tanks of gas round trip

I know 2 people that will loan me their car trailer

If I get on the road Mon I could have it back in TX by Thurs

How do I get this past the CEO

It's even a late build date '03, the VIN is almost 300 units later then my August built 4.4 VIN.
