A bit less than $400 a yr, full coverage...
But, I have 3 cars/3 motorcycles, two houses and a $2 Mill umbrella with the same company, and I am staring at 70 yrs old.

Insurance questions are like, "how do you like where you live": too many variables, and it is all anecdotal.

All states in the United States have different insurance plans/laws, and all of us responding have different insurance packages, and different situs.

If your insurance has gone up 'loads', maybe shop around for a better quote, increased deductibles, put a pkg together of car(s)/house et al and so forth.

Or, toss your X and get a little diesel four banger sedan... Maybe do some noodling on a regional Wales board of car peeps.

Have been to Wales several times: beautiful country.
The written road signs and spoken Welch language made little sense to my Colonist ears.

About 400$ per year for my 2002 3.0d in Riga! It is kasko insurance plus obugatory basic insurance! U do not have to use kasko insurance! U can drive only with basic which is less than 100$ per year!

Less coverage or a ding a ling insurance company means more money
that you'll have to pay out when you get a fender bender
and want OE products and good paint.
