Question regarding staggered rims/wheels (20")

Hi

Might be a question I should know the answer on (still an E53 rookie).

I'm in market for to swap my tiny 17" into staggered 20". After searching the second market here, I see that there is quite few nice BMW 20" rims available out there.

However a lot of them are with the width 10" (front) and 11" (back) and not 9.5" and 10.5" as recommend on my door sticker.

The wheel sizes are identical with front 275/40-20 and back 315/35-20.

Would this be any issue with rubbing or similar? Any body got some experience with these size (I think most second hand available rims are from X6's and newer X5's)

Thx in advance!

FxSlin

(PS: I got the hub centric rings need sorted out)

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
No rubbing with 20x10 and 20x11 assuming the offsets are similar to E53 wheels (ET45 front, ET30 in rear) and the tire sizes are stock 275/40 and 315/35

BMW installed 10./11.5 x 21 Alpina wheels on some E53s.

Just know going in, the rubber for those wheels will cost around $2.5k.

Recommendation: Upgrade to 20" but make your selection a square set up for rotation capable. Style 87 are available and make a nice look
