Thanks Guys! Fell in love with the color too. Our 2nd car is in almost the same color (a '02 Saab 9-3 2.0t Convertible).

I will check the pumps for the washer first before getting a relay. And once I start the Raspberry project I will make a separate thread on it .

Discovered that my rear right tire is leaking air. They are pratically new, judging from the thread and how they look. Hopefully I don't need to replace it. These 315 on 20" are not cheap.

Welcome!
That is one nice species of X5's, love the color!

Very interested in your Raspberry project! I've just done an Android upgrade in my car, however being a computer nerd (my profession) I'm always looking for ways to get more computers into my cars :-)

Nice colour combo. Bought mine about 7 months ago. Almost identical to yours. Welcome to the forum and great group of enthusiasts.

One of my favorite colors too.

Welcome to the forum.

Check your trans fluid. Specifically if someone ever decided to service it before you, they could have filled it with the wrong juice, or worse yet, filled it wrong.

Nice looking car. Looks very similar to mine. Will look at the pi project closely. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again guys!

@SlickGT1
For me it fells like some missing oil. Drove when I lived in Asia a few cars with automatic transmissions and lack of oil created the same glitches. At the moment the gearbox runs well. But first shifts in the morning come late and I have to park my car uphill (15 - 20 degree angle) - my frontyard is not even. Doesnt happen when my car is parked for 10 hours in an even place. Not really concerning, just an observation but I will go soon to a specialist and at least check oil level.

Had fun today at the tire shop. I identified a screw as the cause for the leak in my rear right tire. So I went there to get it fixed. The tires are so big (315 cm wide) that they were not able to fit that in the machine to get it off the rim

So they had to reactivate an old machine with a different design, which was able to take the tire.

They found one screw and one nail. Fixed it with patches and I paid $30 (AUD) after watching a cursing mechanic for 40 minutes complaining about the "dimension of the project".

My TFT screen is still on its way, it just left Guangzhou and a RaspberryPi is already waiting on my desk!
