Thanks for doing/posting this. Ordering a set of those and putting this on the to-do list early this year. Been putting this off for far too long. Think I will also use the heat gun method. That's my preferred way of opening OE headlights.

I have always found the heat gun more localized for working on the headlights.

They'll always have them. That seller has been my source for rings for various bimmers for the last 7 or 8 years.

After driving the car the other day I found out that with the HID fog light upgrade I needed to add the error canceller. My dog lights worked fine with the car off but once turned on they would flicker and cut out and the dash would tell me to check front fog lights. Added the cancellers today and no more issues!!!! It's like landing a plane it's so bright!!

^Did you add projector fogs with the HID's or scattering the light all over the place blinding oncoming traffic using the stock housings?

LOL... don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution.

My housings have started getting milky so I think I am going to order a new set with LED bulbs... or add a 35w HID kit and go with projectors. I haven't decided yet. It's one of the things planned with the bumper removal I mentioned in your other thread.

I would like to compare the difference between LED and HID for the fogs. And I don't use the fogs very often. Typically only on a back road when I head to work at 5:30AM. Not many cars out then :/
